Terms of Service
LAST UPDATED · 30 APRIL 2026
SHORT VERSION
ListTriage is a tool that helps you spot likely Etsy policy issues in your listings before you publish — but Etsy makes the final call, and we make no guarantees about whether they'll suspend or reinstate. We're not affiliated with Etsy, we don't provide legal advice, and the tool is provided as-is.
Don't scan content you don't own, don't probe for vulnerabilities, don't try to bypass rate limits, and don't use the service for anything illegal. Be reasonable and we'll be reasonable.
1. The service
ListTriage is an AI-assisted compliance scanner for Etsy sellers, available at listtriage.com and via the ListTriage Chrome extension. It analyses listing content (titles, tags, descriptions, and optionally images) and returns a risk assessment based on Etsy's published policies and common enforcement patterns.
ListTriage is a tool to assist your judgement. It does not replace legal advice, and it is not a guarantee of compliance. You remain fully responsible for the listings you publish on Etsy and for any consequences arising from them.
2. No guarantees about Etsy outcomes
Etsy's enforcement decisions depend on factors outside the listing content — seller history, complainant identity, regional rules, internal review heuristics, and policy updates. As a result:
- A "Safe" verdict from ListTriage does not guarantee that Etsy will not flag, remove, or suspend the listing.
- A "Do not publish" verdict does not guarantee that Etsy would actually flag the listing.
- Etsy's policies change over time. We update our scanning logic as we observe enforcement patterns, but we cannot promise complete or current coverage.
- The service is provided "as is" with no warranties, express or implied.
You use the service at your own risk and discretion.
3. Independence and Etsy
ListTriage is an independent tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Etsy, Inc.
We do not access your Etsy seller account, scrape your shop, or use any Etsy API. The Chrome extension only reads listing content from edit pages you have already opened in your browser. CSV audits use the standard listing-export file you download yourself from Etsy.
You remain bound by Etsy's own Terms of Use and Seller Policy. Nothing in these Terms overrides those obligations.
4. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.
- Sign-in is via magic link sent to your email — there are no passwords. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure.
- One account per person. Do not share access with others.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for abusive behaviour, attempts to bypass rate limits, or any breach of these Terms.
5. Subscriptions and billing
- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe.
- You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you retain paid access until then.
- The Founders' price (£10/month) is locked for the first 5 founding customers as long as their subscription remains continuously active. If you cancel and resubscribe, the current standard price applies.
- Refunds are considered case-by-case. Email support@listtriage.com within 7 days of a charge to request one.
- All prices are in GBP unless otherwise stated and may include applicable taxes.
- For one-time products (such as the Suspension Appeal), payment is taken upfront and is non-refundable once the appeal letter has been generated.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scan content you don't own or aren't authorised to analyse.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute scan results as your own service.
- Probe the service for security vulnerabilities except via responsible disclosure to security@listtriage.com.
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, free-tier caps, or paid-tier gating.
- Use the service for any illegal purpose, or to facilitate the listing of prohibited or illegal goods.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our scanning prompts or internal logic.
Violations may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.
7. Your content
You retain full ownership of any listing content you submit for scanning. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content for the sole purpose of producing a scan result and storing it in your account history.
We do not use your submitted content for AI model training. We do not share your content with third parties except the infrastructure providers necessary to run the service (see our Privacy Policy).
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages — including but not limited to lost revenue, lost sales, account suspensions or terminations imposed by Etsy, reputational harm, or business interruption.
- Our total liability under these Terms is capped at the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. To delete your account, email privacy@listtriage.com from the address associated with your account.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without notice, for breach of these Terms or for behaviour that risks harm to other users, our infrastructure, or third parties.
Following termination, your data is retained for up to 30 days in case you wish to reactivate, then deleted (subject to legal retention requirements for billing records).
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify active account holders by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Non-material updates (clarifications, fixing typos) may be made without notice.
Continued use of the service after a material change indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, except where local consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your country of residence.
12. Contact
